About The Pool

The 2013 Pool Season will run for 14 weeks from Saturday, May 25th through Monday, September 2nd

In May of 2010 the Dedham Community House opened its brand new pool facility. The DCH outdoor pool is located at 225 Ames Street next to the soccer field. The facility includes the 30' by 75' pool that ranges from 3 1/2 to 5 feet deep, the pool house with locker rooms and first aid station, a large pool deck with a grassy area, a covered pavilion to enjoy meals and snacks in the shade and a parking area.

A concession area is also available for quick snacks and drinks and other pool amenities including frozen treats, fruit bars, chips, Gatorade, water, goggles and sunblock. Lifeguards are always on duty as well as an attendant to check-in members and guests.

In addition to being an important asset to our summer camp, the pool is available outside of camp hours to those purchasing individual or family pool memberships for the season (Pool Membership). The pool is also available to the public through:

• a variety of swim lessons and exercise classes (Pool Programs)
• drop-in adult lap swimming for $5 during all member hours (free for pool members)
• community hours on 6 days throughout the summer (Pool Hours & Calendar)

You do not have to be a DCH member or resident of Dedham to join or use the pool.

Landscaping Grant Received!

New plantings installed around the Pool and Pool House in June 2012 were made possible by a generous grant from the Noanett Garden Club and donated installation by Soldevilla Lawn & Landscape. Thank you!
