Trailblazers Program
“Can't say enough about it. It was the greatest experience for my son. He woke up excited to go, came home tired but always happy and he was there every single day of the summer for 9 weeks. He never said he didn't want to go today. The staff should be commended for the care they show towards the kids and the respect shown to me as a parent.”
For campers entering 7th and 8th grades in September 2013
This program gives maturing campers the opportunity to still be part of a traditional summer camp experience while having a unique space and program of their own. The Trailblazers (“Blazers”) are based out of their “Clubhouse” in the lower hall of the Allin Congregational Church right next to DCH. The Blazers participate in all of our traditional summer camp activities including swimming, archery, woodworking, sports & games, Friday cookouts, weekly field trips and more! They also work on community service projects with DCH and other local organizations to help build a sense of accomplishment while fulfilling necessary community service hours for school!
Please use the regular camp registration and other forms in order to register your child for this program. We need the registration form, the emergency contact form, DCH medical history form and a copy of your child's most up to date physical and immunizations, as well as your camp deposit, in order to reserve a spot.
Registration begins in January. Each week is limited to 30 campers so act fast as space is limited!
For more questions please call the DCH Main Office at 781-329-5740.
