DCH strives to expand access to all of its programs through scholarships and financial aid for its summer camp, teen camp, preschool, school vacation programs and most other offerings. Whether teaching children to share, swim or babysit, DCH offers a multitude of programs that benefit families throughout the year. Your gift to the DCH Scholarship Fund helps ensure that these valuable programs are accessible to all members of the community.
In 2019, for example, DCH granted $150,000 in charitable discounts! Examples include:
• $66,000 in summer camp scholarships to 68 children from every neighborhood of Dedham and beyond!
• $23,000 in financial aid to DCH Preschool families!
• $11,000 in financial aid for participants in our programs and lessons at our pool!
• $50,000 worth of space donated to a wide variety of community organizations!
