Roberto Moran

Roberto joined DCH in December 2022 as Executive Director. The scope of Roberto’s career includes two decades of programmatic and operational leadership serving our most vulnerable populations. Roberto joined us from Volunteers of America of Massachusetts (VOAMASS), where he was the Chief Operating Officer. Prior to VOAMASS, Roberto served as Vice President at Services for the Underserved. During his tenure there, he designed and implemented the agency’s Homeless Services division. Roberto earned his Master of Public Administration from John Jay College and served in the United States Army. |

Program Director
Kaitlin McCarthy

Kaitlin joined DCH in February of 2023 as the Program Director. She has been working in camping for 12 years and has a strong background in program planning and management from working for the YMCA in the after school, preschool, and summer camp programs. Additionally, she has a background teaching swim lessons and lifeguarding for a private swim school. Kaitlin graduated from Champlain College with a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education and enjoys working with youth in non-traditional education settings. Outside of work, Kaitlin is an avid skier and enjoys anything in or on the water, especially on hot summer days! |

Preschool Director
Jayma Thompson

Jayma has worked at DCH Preschool since 2005, first serving in the classroom as a floating teacher, lead classroom teacher, and as the Kindergarten teacher for seven years, before moving into administrative roles. In July 2020 she was promoted to Preschool Program Coordinator and a year later to Assistant Preschool Director. Jayma became the Preschool Director in May 2022. She is excited to continue her longstanding relationship with the organization in this role! Jayma grew up in Dedham, and lived in nearby West Roxbury with her husband for a few years before moving to her current hometown of Attleboro, MA. She received her associate degree in liberal studies and, in 2008, a bachelor's degree in elementary education from Lasell College. Both of Jayma’s children have been students at the DCH Preschool. |

Preschool Assistant Director
Patricia McLoughlin

Patricia joins our team for the start of the 2022/2023 school year with more than 25 years of early education experience and a passion for working with children, colleagues, and families. She prides herself on making connections, sustaining relationships, and staying open to change, growth, and collaboration. Patty graduated with a degree in Elementary Education/Early Childhood Education and has experience in the areas of mindfulness, supporting children and families with special rights (such as transitions (IFSP/IEP support)), understanding roots of behaviors, reflective teacher exchanges, and social/emotional support, especially with conflict resolution strategies. She has been influenced by the Reggio Emilia Approach including in her last position as an Education Coordinator for over 15 years. Her roots are in the classroom as a teacher, and she makes sure she “lives” there enough to always gain balance, insight, and joy. Patty lives in Southeastern MA and enjoys spending time with her children, most of all-hiking, playing and coaching sports, having dance parties, traveling to NH and Cape Cod, and spoiling their dogs - Moo and Honey. |
